Review: Saga, Vol. 9
Saga, Vol. 9 by Brian K. Vaughan
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
I read this at 3 in the morning when I woke up and couldn't get back to sleep. I don't know if that was the best idea because some of those cliffhangers -- geez! I can't wait to read the next one.

Review: Piecing Me Together
Piecing Me Together by Renée Watson
My rating: 4 of 5 stars
I read this for the YSU English festival and it was great! I really liked the main character. The portrayal of friendships and the support the girls in this story gave each other was also really nice to see. I listened to the audiobook and the narrator was fantastic. I'll have to check out more by this author!

Review: Honolulu
Honolulu by Alan Brennert
My rating: 3 of 5 stars
3.5 stars. Enjoyable, but nowhere near as good as Moloka'i. I couldn't connect as well to the main character, although it was an interesting period in Hawai'i's history. It took me a really long time to get through. I didn't love the story, but it made me really want to travel to Hawai'i and see all the beauty for myself!!

I haven't reread this since college, but I still loved it! Definitely one of my comfort books.
